One Kind Act – we love you!

We are Walk4Good, a non-profit dedicated to inspiring and empowering people to practice kindness in their own lives. As part of our program, I am hiking the Appalachian Trail – all 2,180 miles of it – with my dog. For each mile we walk, we are asking for dedications. Dedications are free. You dedicate a mile in honor of someone in your life who has inspired you. In return, all we ask is that you pay it forward and go out and practice kindness. Our goal is 2,180 dedications. On this webpage there is a 7 minute speech about kindness that is moving and inspirational. It is about two separate acts of kindness that saved two people from suicide. Both people are now helping others, so it has had a compound effect.

Can I simply say what a relief to seek out someone who really is aware of what theyre speaking about on the internet. You undoubtedly know how one can carry a problem to gentle and make it important. More folks must learn this and understand this facet of the story. I cant imagine youre not more common since you positively have the gift.

I was going home after church one Sunday and stopped to get a coffee at Starbucks. I ordered and when I got to the window to pay, I was told the car before me had paid for my coffee. It was so unexpected that I sat there in disbelief but that act by a stranger changed my day and the feeling it left me with was one that made me know I would pass it on.
That is an act of kindness that fits all of the criteria
